Here’s a random update on a TUESDAY, hahaha! XD Partly because I have been ill with a very bad cold that the effects are still lingering from over a week later, partly because I figured people probably don’t WANT to hear from me every single week… but I don’t know what you guys do or don’t want unless you tell me… so feel free to let me know in the comments here what you think. =) Comments are stored locally, so they only come to me into my site’s database! Do you want a weekly update? Fortnightly? Monthly?

Anyway, that aside! As I said, I’ve had one stinker of a cold that’s knocked me for six… and that combined with a bunch of other obligations etc. has left me with no buffer for DGiacomo, but not enough energy to be able to boost the buffer up effectively enough to be sustainable without a whole lot of stress… so it’s with a heavy heart I have to put DGiacomo on hiatus whilst I recover, catch up on some other obligations, prepare things like the art assets for DGiacomo’s character tournament polls in November… and build up that buffer again. DGiacomo WILL be returning though, this isn’t the end =) I’m hoping to have it updating again before the polls in November, but we’ll see, I guess!
Also related to DGiacomo, the Mela DTIYS is still running over on Bluesky and will be until the 30th of September 2025! Entries all get entered into a prize draw to win artwork drawn by me, so if that sounds like something you’d find fun, please check it out! =)
Plush
Just like with DGiacomo, this has been stalled as well. =( So no plush progress I can share this time… I don’t really want to handle fabric with a cold, so it’s worth the delay, really, hahaha! Poor Creepers’ face is still incomplete!
The Massive Bokumono 30th Anniversary Collab 2026
Here’s some positive and productive news I CAN share! =) Despite falling ill in the middle of planning this collaboration and it being delayed by a week because of it, the Massive Bokumomo 30th Anniversary Collab 2026 is now live! =) You can find information about this collaborative project and find out how you can take part by reading this thread on Bluesky and reaching out to me on it there to be added to the Discord hub where everything is organised.
The idea is that fans of the Bokujou Monogatari/Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon (Marvelous, not Natsume) series who can draw all get together to draw fullbody characters from the series that they have been assigned in order to create a massive group picture at the end with (hopefully) every character over the course of the series’ run from the past 30 years in it! If that sounds fun to you, please reach out and join us to help make this a reality! =)
I actually held a similar event to this in 2011/2012 where we ended up with over 70 artists and roughly 300 characters in the final image! There have been many games since with large casts and some unearthed references for older games that have surfaced, so there’s a big chance it could be even larger this year! Here’s the old 2012 piece which I think still looks impressive to this day!

Aside from all these things, I finally reached 2000 followers on Bluesky! Thanks to all of you who follow me, you really make my day! =) I still intend on holding a celebratory raffle for this milestone, but since the Mela DTIYS AND the Massive Bokumono Collab are both running at the same time, I’ll be delaying the milestone raffle until the Mela DTIYS is over… so that I can pin the celebratory raffle on my Bluesky! I’m sure that’s an acceptale compromise, haha!
