The main character of Last Shot.

Mackenzie is an ex-detective. When he was active, he was exceptionally good at his job and very methodical, but a bit too enthusiastic, frequently overworking himself and spending nights without sleep whilst attempting to solve cases. He relies heavily on coffee.
Detective work is his passion and he lives for it.

He is currently on enforced dismissal from his job on doctor’s orders and is finding his new life very difficult to adjust to.
