After losing his composure at work, Chester ends up a wanted man on the run from the police. He decides to make use of his strange jumping powers to be a superhero and, donning his dad’s old motorsport collection gear, takes up the alias of Bike Helmet Hero. Chester fights alongside Colchester’s other third-generation superheroes to fight crime whilst trying to stay one step ahead of the law himself.

Chester is an overall friendly guy who doesn’t really have any truly nasty thoughts or opinions. He wants nothing more than to make up for what he did.

Tudy is Chester’s long time best friend from his university years. Tudy is the brains/tech nerd for Chester, helping him with intel and tech related things. Tudy is torn about the entire situation with Chester, but too genuine to turn his best friend away.

Tudy is a self employed programmer/white-hat hacker and works from his flat in Colchester. He’s introverted and a little bit stand-off-ish. He’s a chronic chain smoker who downs multiple packs a day and also enjoys drinking a pint a bit too much. He can’t cook to save his life.

Tornado Tempest is one of the acting, current superheroes of the third generation. He is very small, but powerful with his air based technique. TT is a joker, upbeat, friendly and loves old slang. He can use his powers to fly, swim fast and even dig through the ground (though this makes a hell of a mess). He looks younger than he is due to his height and stature, something he finds very annoying.

Force is one of the acting, current superheroes of the third generation. He is the youngest of the heroes, fairly tall and quite spindly in frame. Force is a quiet superhero who tends to keep to himself and solve conflicts without much talk. He has the power of super strength, despite his appearance. As he opts not to talk much to the others, or anyone, really, people don’t know much about him.

The Almighty Hunky-dory is one of the acting, current superheroes of the third generation. Hunky-dory is an obnoxious guy who sees himself as a hero more than the others see him as one. Whilst he sees himself as the most capable and best, he’s possibly the least powerful out of all the heroes as he actually has no powers at all. He tends to run straight into battle without thought and usually has to end up being saved by one of the other heroes.

He uses obnoxious slang and calls everybody “guy”, regardless of gender.

As a person, Nightfall is quiet, reserved and seemingly ignorant of the people around him. He does everything at his own pace on his own terms. He seems to mostly crop up when things have been stolen…

Zoë is Tudy’s outgoing, extroverted and loud neighbour. She lives in the same flat block as Tudy and enjoys visiting him to cause havoc. She’s an artist who likes to build sculptures out of scrap metal and junk, specifically ones that look like scenes when they cast a shadow. She’s headstrong, sassy and outgoing and comes across very blunt, but she’s very caring at heart. She has short, scruffy hair which is usually dyed in odd colours and is tall and thin. She spends a fair bit of time caring for her room-mate who has developed amnesia and memory problems recently.

Toby was a second generation superhero by the name of ShadowRyou in the era of the late 1990s and 2000s. He has beast transformation-based powers. He typically fought alongside his team-mates; Max Galver, Emerlectron and Typhoon. When using his powers, Toby takes the form of an anthro wolf-like creature with blue-white fur.

His story is mostly told in Bike Helmet Hero: Legends.

Yoji Maekawa (Bike Helmet Hero)

A supporting character from Bike Helmet Hero.

Yoji was a second generation superhero by the name of Typhoon in the era of the late 1990s and 2000s. He has air/wind based powers. He typically fought alongside his team-mates; ShadowRyou, Max Galver and Emerlectron. Nowadays he lives a normal life with his wife, Senna.

Inferno is a first generation supervillain and one of the first to take up villainy using his powers after powers emerged in people born after the solar storm of 1951. He has overwhelmingly strong fire powers that he likes to use for chaos.
