Hi! I’m Dex McKinnery, an artist who enjoys writing stories and turning them into comics!

I’ve been writing stories since childhood and drawing comics since my early teens. I have quite a large amount of original comics in the works, but due to health issues, I’m currently working on DGiacomo, a Pokémon fan comic, until I feel well enough to jump fully into my originals. Once that happens, you’ll be able to find them here on this site.

The stories I write are primarily aimed towards an adult audience, though younger readers may also enjoy them. Whilst my target audience is “adults”, my comics aren’t sexually explicit. I enjoy writing about underdog characters, unconventional heroes and drawing casts with a wide variety of body types and opinions. Character opinions don’t explicitly represent my own! Some stories might cover adult themes that some people might deem uncomfortable.

I also enjoy making the occasional plush and, sometimes maybe making some music remixes (usually 80s synthwave or eurobeat) or even animation (though these 2 are a lot rarer).
